Do you know that he won 6 games and lost 3 on an 8-8 team and completed 67% of his passes?  Do you know much about the Bears OL?  The WRs and running game?

You see, if you sign him, you are already better than TB and you still go after drafting a QB.

It is not Watson--I get it--but you must learn to comprehend that there are things in this world that are smart even if you do not think they are.  Nobody knows how Trubiski will do in another system with good WRs--not me--and not you.  So cut the chest pounding crap and learn how to consider all possible options without getting those panties in a wad.

He just seems like a Teddy retread to me. I have no idea how he will do in another system, but I doubt it will be very good. I feel like one of our backups can help teach a rookie the system better than Mitch could. I dont see any upside to signing him unless we think he can be a viable starter.

I dont see why, when he could get sooo much in return for him. Like buying a home and the agent says "well yea they only had either 8 or 10 people murder here"...

because you are getting evicted from the home and you have no choice but to leave it

this sounds like salty rich guy shady poo.

like "oh, you thought you were on your way out Mr. good guy? too good to play for us? heres a smear campaign, bitch"

Id for sure smear his ass AFTER I got Burns/Chinn/Brown/good young starters, three 1s, three 2s, and mids. Now its toxic and NO one will touch this, even if its BS. You remember that OL that the police just questioned La'el Collins in regards to a murder investigation (he had a late 1st grade by nearly everyone.) He went undrafted and fuging Jerrah slide him some money under the table and got him signed. Just talking...

I think the same thing, but he is more athletic and he has never been on a good offense.  Teddy has played for 4 NFL teams--we know him now.  I am not saying go all in on Mitch--I am saying he could be brought here knowing there is a shot at starting.  Then trade up for a QB in the draft.  You can play Trubiski for a year and if he does well, trade him when the rookie is ready. To me, it is like insurance and an upgrade if things fall apart.

I can respect that line of thinking.

now cases that are truly legitimate, you have fugtards like me that don't believe it.

People not believing victims is what started the necessity of "cancel culture" tbh.

I dont want Lance. Fields and Wilson wont be there. Could live with Jones.

Right now I would like to trade TB to SF and sign Trubisky.

He has shown flashes of being a good QB. Wouldn't mind seeing him with Brady/Rhule.

Id be cool with Watson, but Panthers just don't have the assets. They will trade with Jets or Miami.

Unless Tepper goes ham and offers everything. Which is hard for me seeing happening.

No, it's people actually being stupid and continuously empowering persons--mostly men--of bad character by placing them in positions of leadership and continuing to support their businesses, and generally just buying their bullshit narratives, even though they know that men have questions regarding sexism, racism and some other "isms"!

    • What I really learned here is that the Carolina Panthers aren't anywhere near as bad as I initially thought they were earlier this year.  We've got a young and growing offense with some promising parts. But it still needs some tweaks and improvements.  We really still could still use a dominant #1 WR. But Chubba,  Legette, Coker,  and J.Sanders have generally looked decent. Bryce took a big leap after the benching. We can score enough points to keep pace with 2x defending super bowl champions, so offense isn't a huge issue. Main thing that needs improvement is defense. We sorely need a CB 2, and a number of new players at Dline and LB.  We're not quite as bad at edge with Wonnum showing promise.  But we definitely need 1 or 2 more edges Clowney is old.  Run D is probably worse prevailing theme these past couple years. We really need a good young stud or two to pair with Derrick Brown and another LB to pair up with Trevin Wallace. If Morgan and Canales can focus on rebuilding the defense this off-season and possibly going out and getting a #1 WR. This team could easily be somewhere around 7-10 to 10-7 and flirting with playoffs in 1 or 2 seasons. Overall this game has made me feel alot more positive about the direction of the team.
    • With our picks we need pass rush, lb, Safety, a speedster yac wr, o line depth and I still want a mid round qb. We got 9 picks and 8 in the first 5 rounds. If they pull Off another solid draft we be cooking.
    • We had one passing touchdown against the Giants and one passing touchdown against the Chiefs today. Yes a good backup can replicate that. And that is why Andy Dalton in significantly less games has the same number of 30 point outings as Bryce Young. I am on board with you guys about wanting to be hopeful for the future. Today was a good performance to build on especially at home. But let's please keep things in perspective. BTW the Bucs who honestly aren't even that good blew the doors off the Giants today after we went to overtime against them with 17 points. Again. Perspective.
