It’s obviously all concocted by the Texans ownership retaliating for his trade demand.

You can't possibly believe this.

It would be impossible execute such a ruse without getting caught...

...you should be embarrassed for even suggesting as such.

Meh!! I am not too excited anymore!! If it cost what’s being projected!! If we lose Brown, Burns or Chinn I will be pissed!! Defense wins!! Screw that!! I say trade up for Fields or Wilson!! If they want to gamble

So trading one draft worth’s of picks in NOT worth landing maybe the second best QB in the world?

Pain is temporary- Super Bowls are forever. We’re never going anywhere unless we get a top flight signal caller and excuse me if I don’t think the number 4 or 5 QB in this year draft is the bees knees.

Just faaar too much for me, I love having a young defensive trading it away or in no rush to trade alllllll that for any one player including Lance/Lawrence.

You got a grasp on the panthers, we just had Cam and well.....are you at least going to agree we didnt protect him well enough? Have you seen the current OL, no matter the rainbow positive feelings nor luck would I put a elite QB behind it.

if i had a gun to my head and had to guess what was going on, id say that this is a POS front office/ownership trying to fug over a player on his way out.

When in reality its just driving his price down..    doesn't logically make sense for them to do that..  which is why i think the texans, or actually the friends of that POS owner, are doing this.

Classic honeypot. The timing says everything, had this come out weeks ago it would have an ounce of believability.

Why isn't this kind of stuff looked at as an extortion plot and investigated as such, instead of media and public guilt until proven innocent?

In my opinion it looks like a hater with inside knowledge of the business dealings trying to throw a dirty sleezy monkey wrench into Watson departure. I'm sure he can't wait to get away from such foolishness.

Because all cases are exactly the same, "Whatabout?" is a great argument.

I'm not suggesting Whiny Watson is guilty of anything...

...but the Huddle Court of Opinion certainly is giving him a complete pass vs. any other player (or executive) in recent times who has been accused of anything remotely close to this!

Hmm, I wonder why....??

    • We could easily pick apart yesterday’s game: dropped passes, blown coverages, bad tackling and red zone issues to name a few. But it was clear that this wasn’t the same team from earlier in the season. They fought back and hung with the champs until the end. That’s what I was excited to see and it gives me hope that we’re on the right track.
    • I think BY played well today and exceeded expectations. I will temper future expectations as he has to string together many games of consistent quality. One game doesn’t convince me that he is a franchise QB or even a guy you want to stick with for another season. One game doesn’t erase all the negative play and limitations from the past couple of years. I hope he balls out and continues to get better but for me the verdict is still out   That said, I think he gave the team and fans hope yesterday which is a lot more than what we had when we woke up Sunday morning.
    • He was vastly improved today and we need to see more of Bryce the rest of the season to continue evaluate him in order to decide what the heck to do with him at the end of the season. He must play at least like this and improve more from here the rest of the season in order for me to keep him. No more 123 yard passing games and want to see at least this output weekly from him. If this is Bruce improving slowly over time then Canales is even better with developing QB's than I thought he was but still too early to tell and we need to see him the rest of the way as he has at very least earned back the starting gig moving forward.
