Im pretty tired of hearing how Lawrence is a generational talent and can not possibly bust. The dude is going to the Jags a historically bad team, he has a pretty high chance of sucking with that franchise.

Trainwreck waste of talent incoming. JagDouche owner just hired his Saban/Kelly can't miss guy and will be completely surprised when it doesn't work out. I just wonder if they ruin Lawrence or if we will get to see him on a real team in 5 years.

Would be the first time in the history of the league 4 QBs went in the first 7 picks.

I'll believe it when I see it.

That said I somehow could easily 100% see 4 QBs go in the first 8 after our pick so who knows.

I just don't see ATL taking a QB given the recent commitment to Ryan by restructuring which makes him uncuttable or untradeable for several years. MIA and Cincy aren't taking one. Eagles ownership wants the team to build around Hurts so I could see them passing for a QB and the Lions have Goff with a massive contract and no WRs.

While each of those teams could trade out, I dont see a team giving up multiple 1st round picks to move up for the 3rd or 4th best QBs in the draft.

Urban is an offensive mastermind and will know how to craft an offense for him.  He is a cant miss

I wouldn't go as far as saying can't miss but I would be surprised if he doesn't succeed.  He could get Tommy John'd and end up like Jake Delhomme after one season.  But yeah, he is the best QB in this class.

No draft pick is a cant miss, he could have a terrible injury in his first practice, he could say fug it i dont care anymore and just wing it. No draft pick is ever a cant miss, that is dumb.

In my NFL watching career 3 players have been cant miss before trevor.  Elway, Peyton and Luck.  Trevor is every bit as good as them.  Injury aside this kids floor is the playoffs every year assuming they build a line to protect him

Two Factors, lots of QB's suck next year is #1. Another factor, Teddy can't be out there week 1, Teddy got the blessing of life time missing all the boo's at the end of the season because of no crowd, that same luxury won't be afforded next season, the boo birds  are gonna be out week 1, HARD AND FAST.

That is a much better statement. Trevor is the best graded prospect at QB. He can still bust.

Luck did not amount to anything. Cam had the more successful career. He played a couple of seasons of okay NFL football. He was supposed to light the world on fire and be a 1st ballot HoF'er. Now we are hearing the same noise about Lawrence.

Making the playoffs 4 out of 6 years playing behind a trash line.  Nah man he didnt amount to anything.  He saw his franchise wasnt going to protect him so he said eff this noise I am out.  Smart.

I am not comparing him at all to Cam.

    • KC has a very good defense this year. It is 5th overall. Yes, still worse than last year, but their offense is considerably worse. Their passing D may be their "weakness" but they still allow fewer than 20 ppg. BY completed several deep passes yesterday, and he was able to threaten downfield in ways he didn't seem capable of before the benching. I'm not necessarily worried about his ability to connect deep anymore. What to me was impressive was that he did all this without a run game. We used the pass to set up what little running success we had. Wild.
    • Solid and fair assessment.   I will say, one of the big things I noticed yesterday was that he wasn't shy to step up into the pocket in the face of pressure.  He's trusting the IOL.  And they took care of Chris Jones yesterday.  We had clean pockets but also good success rate vs. pressure which just hasn't been the case with Bryce.   If he has more confidence the OL gets it done and he can navigate and step up for throws, that's huge.  It's one of the biggest things that's held him back.  He was previously bailing quickly and just too easily throwing away or making dead plays.     He was finding his 2nd to 3rd reads within structure/without bailing in the pocket.  That was nice to see, as much concern I have with him.  And the overall limitations will always be there. Time to back it up this week against the Bucs.
    • Suddenly the Cowgirls look like our best chance for a win remaining. I think the Bucs are playing better than the Falcons of late.  Our lone game versus the dirty birds is in the ATL where we always struggle.  The Cardinals are marginally better than I thought they would be. We are not beating the Eagles, they are starting to roll. I'm saying two at most, next week at home versus the Bucs and the Cowgirls.
