[Person] Panthers were also in on DL Denico Autry and CB Michael Davis. Probably a good indicator of where they'll look today and in coming days

So far they have looked to upgrade on the oline, dline, corner and hedge themselves at wr.  Starting to see a plan come together.

the lines are definitely a priority, as well they should be. I see a heavy O-Line draft incoming.

Damn I wanted Autry he is a sneaky good player and grew up here in Stanly County. Surprised he didn’t take deal to get close to home

fug playing close to home. NFL careers are short. Get your money and live wherever you want in the world once you retire.

I'm not certain it will be heavy. At most I could see them picking up two.  Probably end up with one in the first two rounds, if the don't trade them away, and two or three udfa.

I’m interested to see who we go after now

I think Leonard Williams could be the FA prize. I didn't think the Panthers would spend big money at DT but after cutting Kerr I think it's a possibility. They have to have a DT lined up to sign today after cutting him this late in the game.

No way we pay that much, not after seeing what they would have given Autry

    • That’s a book of the great life that the Panthers have had. So great to look back on the great players and seasons that we have had. But I think the book could have been twice the size. We have had a good 30 years, up and down the standings. i know we are in a bad spot right now, but hopefully before long we will be climbing back towards that Super Bowl championship
    • LmAO ..it does not make any sense whatsoever why a team that is currently 2-0 would  trade their backup Qb to a team that is 0-2 & in the same NFC conference ? & what is Seattle going to do if Geno Smith is injured ? wouldn't a team that is  currently 2-0 & is quiet  possibly going to the playoffs  want a decent plan B that already knows how to operate their system & has some form of chemistry with their players  , like I said before this is the NFL &teams especially ones like Seattle  are NOT going to trade their backup Qb 2 games into the regular season...just saying
    • Yeah, I can see that happening, but my only thing is, whoever he goes to, it's going to be a bad team. Not a whole lot of difference between us and say Denver, Jax, the Giants or the Colts. Of course, we're probably worse, but not by that much. Manning would have to pick his poison.
