Or he's taking a 1 year deal this year while he waits for the Salary Cap to increase next year.

This move is great for the Panthers...

As mentioned, this move makes it more likely for the Dolphins willing to trade back if they're willing to wait to take a WR.  I've always thought they end up taking Sewell if they stay at 3 and this move just makes it that more likely.  So with Sewell gone, the Bengals probably will be looking to trade down a few spots.  With the Dolphins taking Sewell at 3, trading up with the Bengals will secure us one of the top 4 QBs.

Reports say he turned down more money from a couple of other teams.

That's huge for the Steelers. Both the Ravens and Chiefs were offering more.

Surprised he didn't choose KC, but I guess 1 year and staying put is easier than picking up and moving to a new city, etc. for the short term.

Unless the Falcons want to pull a Green Bay or Kansas City and replace their veteran with the future.

Yeah they probably might do that, still would leave one of the top 4 available at #5, that being Trey Lance if the picks play out like that.
