next time any of you are in atlanta, send me a pm and i'll escort you to auntie anne's snack shack

she's won every award in the world for her ghetto burger, which is the best/worst thing ive ever had in my life. burger, cheese, chili, cheddar, bacon, mayo, and all the toppings.

she only takes 8 people at a time and the wait is generally two hours. the only rules are no elbows on the table, no cursing, no hats, and no babies.

only problem is it's in the worst part of town, so you'll have to stick with me since i've got street cred.

As long as we can take MARTA I'm in...

T-Bones

Hoopers

McHales

Steve's Bar

Lake Wylie Junction

Fort Mill BBQ Co. at 160 and Gold Hill Rd.

I think you were the one that recommended it on here. Tried it right after you mentioned it because we pick up our groceries at Loew's Foods to Go. Best all around BBQ. Pulled pork, ribs and chicken are all good. Your choice of tomato or mustard base sauce if you ask. Mac's has better 'tater salad though.

Also, the Shrimp Boat on Cherry St. in Rock hill is better than Price's Chicken Coop IMO, great chicken and catfish. The food doesn't taste like it's dipped in grease after it's fried like PCC food does.

I have seen the bbq place. Not gone in yet.

The second part. DUDE. I use to walk there. Years ago, that place was in a different location, the facade was a boat with a plank that walked into a double wide trailer. THAT was the restaraunt.

Beside it was a place called Tiny Tee. Very poor man's Putt Putt. I use to huslte money playing mini golf and video games and pinball machines. OLD school pinball too. The roation ones.

High score in regular pinball you would win 5.00 a week. As a kid that was big money.

Then I would shag for golf balls for extra cash. They had a metal flag/pole about 250 yds in the center of the driving range.

You knock out the red light you get 100 or 200.

Great memories

Oh. Its Cherry ROAD.

Sorry for the misnomer. I've been to the SB about 4 times now.

I transplanted my mom to a Rock Hill nursing home from Ala. earlier this year (long story) and have been exploring the area for take out dinners when we visit down there. I'm trying to find a place that does traditional turnip greens, fried okra, squash, cornbread, etc. so I can bring mom an old fashioned meal every now and then.

I did deliveries down there right after I reitred from the Navy, but I hardly recognize the place now.
