As far as dive bars, Thirsty Beaver, Jeff's Bucket Shop, and Connelly's when it gets sketchy are the only ones that I've been to that I would really consider dives.

I will say that the Concord area (Afton Ridge area) and Harrisburg area have gotten quite a bit better. Some interesting specialty restaurants opening up that are really good.

It's near my office and I've eaten there a few times. You can get a burger and fries for about $5. Pretty good food.

Buck's County Tavern on Central ave. poo beer, free pool, and good subs(Boars head meats). This little spanish lady that works during the day makes deserts that are amazing. Only bad thing is it's a Philly bar.
