Yeah, but a lot of that Dias appears quickly when you factor in new deals for DJ Moore, Anderson and Burns.

What's new....it seems every season we are cap strapped and have to pick through whats left of JAG's to fill holes.

Ill go out on a limb and say if a certain player wants to sign a big deal, they will.

 

The thing about Moton is this, they know what it would take and could at any point sign him to lower his cap number more. So its a power move, we dont have space is miss leading.

How is it that the Saints are still 40 million over the cap and still signing Marcus Williams and we have all this money and are cap strapped and have to bargain shop??? I don't get it.

I read the article too and I mostly agree with it. Same as last year, try to fill as many holes as you can without too much risk financially and remove the pressure of drafting for need. The only exception to that I could see is perhaps going a little higher for a FS or CB. No need to spend a lot on 1 position when you have so many needs.

Some teams aren't teams at all, just dancers, placeholders, other thans.

Look at the extremes the NFL went to to "stop" Cam Newton. It was obvious. The NFL hierarchy didn't like swag, dabs, and certainly didn't want the Panthers to win anything.

Look at spygate. NFL had the evidence of the Patriots taping the Panthers and the two big guys who came for the evidence reportedly smashed the tapes after receiving them.

My short answer is FAVOR. Favor ain't fair.

No we def want to keep him. Now if he gets WR1 money let him walk, but #2 money we could afford. My point is the Saints would be able to sign him and for some reason we can't. Maybe our cap and statistic guys aren't at their level.
