Jordan Staal appreciation thread

Let me be the first to admit before the season started that I was ready to move on from Jordan because I saw his production dropping and he seemed to be slowing down. But low and behold let me eat crow, staalsy has really been active, scoring alot and adding assists, he has been such a needed boost for this team. While Aho has struggled earlier and Svechnikov seems to be in a bit of a rut jordan is killing it. I'm so glad we didnt trade him when I wanted to.

He's almost matched his point production from the last 2 seasons, in 23 games.

I'm not gonna go out and buy an "11" jersey because of this season, but I must also admit he's playing waaaaay better than I expected. Maybe it's the youth movement in Raleigh reinvigorating him.

We tried building the Aal-Staal line years ago. It didn't work.
