My best case is maybe too real for most.  Draft a QB and hope its Lance. Keep TB for this year only, cause no one wants to pay him 10 million in guarantees. Facts are the panthers are a long shot to make the playoffs. 37 minutes after the week 17th game, cut TB and get ready to make noise in 2022.

Enough to trade a 2nd with only one year remaining? Would that be enough time to properly evaluate for a new contract. I’d hate to trade a second and have him walk to a new FA contract.

Beside the fact I explained what the exercise was and why I used the saying in the topic and 1st post..

If you have to explain/clarify the exercise in a second post because the cliché saying you choose to use doesn't fit...just re-word it man.  I'm not overly critical, it legitimately just didn't make sense imo.

It was just a small comment and then I contributed to your original question.  Don't take it as me siding with anyone, ha, I have nothing to do with whatever feud you and MHS have going.
