They all play the game for one primary reason, money.  DW is no "different".

fixing the FO would bring him back most likely and end this.  That’s a win for Watson.  

Watson got real money.  Got it from football and endorsements.  And he will make more no matter what in the end playing football.  

NFL is changing.  They see other sports.   Ain’t just about cash either.  If it was Luke and Luck would be playing instead of retiring at their primes.

Didn’t Easterby help McNair through some personal issues? If that’s the case they are probably very close and it may be hard to fire him.

I think firing Easterby would be a good idea regardless of whether it helps them keep Deshaun Watson or not.

Not really expecting it to happen though.

I think it is just McNair’s ego.  Easterby is a train wreck.  Cal has to see that at this point.  But he isn’t going to let a player call the shots.  

McNair takes an L no matter what IMO. He just needs to accept that.  Best L would be just to do the obvious and fix the FO.  But egos are weird.
