This is just my opinion!

I'd look into signing TE Jonnu Smith to see if a deal could be worked out between the player and organization.

Also I'd look into signing OL Senio Kelemete to bring something to the oline to protect whoever starts as QB this coming season.

I'm not quite sure why DL Efe Obada hasn't been re-signed yet! I'm sure it's in the works just hasn't been announced yet.

A TE has become available that could bring a lot to the team to help revive the TE position to the Panthers, but will be a little pricey: TE Hunter Henry!

I would offer WR Robby Anderson a extension to keep the 2 headed monster alive!

I would try to re-sign: DE Efe Obada; CB Corn Elder; C Tyler Larsen if for nothing else depth!

This is just what I would do if it was me. Bring in a different QB, but keep Bridgewater on the roster til you can get a trade done. Pair that QB with one of the elite RB in the league, at least have 2 receivers to bring what the can to the team, and a great receiving TE!

My guess is that we're trying to sign him to a multi-year deal. If that fails I expect him to be tendered.

Have anybody seen Mike Davis Twitter account. He started counting down days last week and says he has some news coming which is the 17th. I wonder if he has got an offer and is leaving? I would like to keep him but I’m not putting no more money into backup rb

Legal tampering period doesn't start till Monday but stuff happens.

From what I've been reading, I get the impression Davis isn't gonna be back.

If he were signing with us, he wouldn't have to wait.

Yeah that’s what I thought, he just been posting pictures of him on game days and said he tell of something in 5 days now but it started at like 10 days. I was like please don’t give him a lot of money

If I were making a guess regarding this season, I'd say the Panthers probably don't pay him any money at all.

Davis may have still been the technical starter, but the Panthers were pretty much running back by committee in the latter part of last year. The whole "we can replace McCaffrey with Davis" narrative wound up looking pretty silly.

He's just not suited to carry a starter's workload.

I read somewhere where he changed agents and there is a waiting period before a deal can be done after you change agents. I'm not sure when that waiting period is over but that could be part of the delay.

He's still here but I'd try to get Jermaine Carter on a simple 1 or 2 year extension.  He wasn't amazing, but he's good depth that I'd like to keep here for a few more years to see if he really develop into a starter.
