Saw this coming...

There was word that Peters was out of our GM search because San Francisco made him some promises in order to retain him. Said at the time that if he wound up getting a promotion, it would probably substantiate those rumors.

Working for the 49ers was his dream job anyway since he grew up as a big fan. Knew that'd be an obstacle we'd have to overcome if we wanted him.

I missed big time on this guy---thought he was going to be a stud.  The Indy GM should have been fired for trading for him after he showed what he was about in the NFL.
