Deshaun Watson Update

Here's a question, if you had to throw ONE of these three in a trade, what would your order of preference be?

I'd go Brown, Chinn, then Burns. Elite DE are important.

Unless Watson does a 180, it’s going to be very difficult to keep him. The QB is the leader of the team and everyone knows he doesn’t want to be there, which can’t be good for the locker room. He almost certainly will get traded (especially if they can get 3 first round picks and two young starters). I’m not saying it will be us, but he will get traded unless he buys in 100% to the new staff (which I can’t see happening at this point).

I acknowledge the possibility.

The longer we go though, the more sources I see taking seriously that the Texans might actually drag this fight out over an entire season. Albert Breer was talking about just that not long ago.

Honestly, the thing I feel most comfortable saying is that whatever happens, the Texans are going to handle it badly.

But how seriously do you take the idea of the Texans saying "You know what? Teddy Bridgewater and Shaq Thompson is a good return for trading away Deshaun Watson"?

We can't trade for a QB then let Samuel walk and trade Anderson. At today's WR prices, Anderson was a pretty good bargain.
