Im not so sure how Trubisky could lead and teach the young player the ropes. In that situation i feel like maybe another aging vet like Fitz could be a potential better option maybe? What say you?

I like players having mentors on the team, but I put more of the QB development responsibilities on the QB coach and offensive coordinator. I wouldn’t bring a guy on just as a mentor. Imo, Trubisky’s potential is worth the risk if you can get him for cheap.
