It was totally campy, but it was an 70's/80's show for crying out loud, and a happy childhood memory, so of course I remember it as better than it was. However, the new one was lame and the plot was lazy. Even with the benefit of 20 years of special effects advances it was relegated to Syfy. "Oh Noe! EVERYONE'S A CYLON!!!!1!111!" And Jane Seymour is still hot. Probably won't be able to say the same about any of the 'babes' from the new one in 20 years. Tricia Helfer is already looking rode hard and put up wet, and the other blonde chick is a total butterface...so say we all.

I loved it as a kid too but the new one is better in every regard.

And yes Jane Seymour is still fuging hot.
