Mrazek will be out following his thumb surgery for several weeks.

That being said, as long as the Canes can keep teams below 25 hots per game, they might be okay.

Have to carry 3 in the NHL and don't want to call up our 4th more so than putting Mrazek on IR.

Plus I don't think the cap is working with us right now. We are already pushed up against the edge.

Especially with Necas and Tro out and McCormick on IR.

Canes went with 11 forwards and 5 or 6 D last night- the D was gassed at the end of the game.

Ya, one would think if we just had even Trocheck yesterday we wouldn't have looked so sluggish during the final 4-5 minutes of the game yesterday.

That whole situation is weird.  He seemed fine by game's end.  Must've happened in practice or something.
