I have lived in Florida for over 20 years now but still barely cared who won. I did enjoy watching Tom win his 7th. We're watching history. This will never be repeated. Take some enjoyment in that. Tom Brady has been in nearly 10% of all Superbowls. As an old man myself, I find it hard to route against him. We'll get one someday. Just hope I'm alive to see it.

I didn't want either team to win going into the game but once I started watching I was pulling for Tampa Bay.  Just something about how all the media was talking about how great Mahomes is and all he had to do to get the GOAT was to beat Brady.  

Tampa outplayed KC.  

You can be all whiny and bitchy or just accept it.   

Tampa Bay had a great offensive and defensive game plan and KC scored FG while TB scored TDs.

They added 3 offensive players who, at one point in their careers not long ago, were the best at their respective positions--and they had 3 TDs together--the Bucs did not have to trade for them, draft them.  They were gift wrapped.  It was the most NBAish thing I have seen in the NFL. 

And for some reason, the refs in the Super Bowl think the team with the legendary, aging QB does not commit penalties.

Message to the Panthers:

You have lost 2 Super Bowls.  One to Tom Brady, the other to Peyton Manning.   Both teams had solid defenses. 

It is time to step up and go for a title.  Not a playoff birth, not a Super Bowl appearance--the Lombardi.

Both of Tampa's SBs are fluky to a degree.  The 2002 team, Jon Gruden knew everything the Raiders were doing, I think he still even remembered their calls.  This one, they rented the G.O.A.T. for a ring.

One thing is for sure, both of those Tampa squads had solid defenses, that much I can't take away.

Huge story line being glossed over too right now is Tampa Bay was 2 World series wins away from winning 3 out of 4 of the major American sports trophies and 3/3 possible for the city this "Season".

Helps to have refs with an arsenal of flags to give the opposing team for bullsh*t.  Another piss poor officiating performance goes in favor of Brady to create the storyline the NFL wants.
