What was your first Hornets Game you attended?

I moved to Charlotte in early 1990, just after Hugo.  I either attended a game at the end of the 89-90 season or beginning of 90-91 season.  My aunt would get tickets through her job for all kinds of things, including Hornets games.  This was the beginning of my Charlotte sports fandom.

Dec. 26, 1997 vs. the Cavs. My dad surprised me with the tickets on Christmas. It was a good first game to go to — Divac had a big game, Glen Rice was cooking like always and we beat the Shawn Kemp-led Cavs. The Hive was electric.

Opening night, inaugural season. Lost to the Cavs by 40. 

Was also at the first pre-season game (Dallas).

Waaaay more Hornets games than Panthers games for sure.

I was at the Celtics playoff game when Zo tipped in the last shot. I was at a couple of the Kobe games when we kept beating them.

I was at that Bobcats game when Matt Carrol went off while we were leaving, we had to turn back around because the crowd was going crazy.

I think it was during the '91-'92 season. We were playing the New Jersey Nets. I was only 5 or 6 years old, so the only thing I really remember is that Kendall Gill sprained his ankle during the game.

One and only Hornets game I attended was a Saturday afternoon game in 1994. Sat in the wrong seats and the usher said, "No, you're down here..." and we ended up sitting right behind Bill Walton doing the color for whatever TV station. Alonzo, Dell Curry, Grandmama, Mugsy, and Robert "The Chief" Parish was finishing up his career after all his great years in Boston.

Great thing about being that close is hearing all the trash talk.

Ironically it was my brother's second birthday, but my dad took me to my first sporting event.  I got a picture beforehand with Rex Chapman.  I was six at the time so do not remember much of the game, but I do remember they won (it was their victory).

88-89 season Kelly Tripuka, Robert Reid both get double digits vs the Bucks..

I was 4 rows back from center court the home game following Glen Rice winning MVP at the all star game. I just remember the whole place going absolutely crazy.

I was young so it's honestly hard to remember the actual game but it was the 93/94 season. 

The biggest point of nostalgia for me was the frozen lemonade and eastern style bbq they had at the arena.
