ESPN thinks we'll lose to the Saints

i don't think the sky is falling, but this game does scare me. i also don't like dilfer. not saying what he says doesn't hold SOME weight. it's really just the way he comes across and looks. there are also others that I made the same, almost snap, judgement on. i do like Mark Schlereth, Marcellus Wiley, and Michael Smith though. I wonder what they are saying?

We are going to kick their sorry Saint asses all day long.

You go ahead and cheer for the Saints.

oh no I don't think the team I cheer for is going to win that must mean I cheer for the other team now

Weren't you the same guy that said they were going to beat us at B of A?

probably.

Teams that have nothing to play for in the last week of the season rarely show up to play and I am not sure why this game would be any different.

Vastly mistaken. A lot of times the teams that have nothing to play for play their best ball because they have nothing to lose.

see :

Jets vs. Seahawks

Miami vs. KC

Buffalo vs Denver

Washington vs Philly

GB vs Chicago

and oh.. those were all this past week.... only 2 of those playoff contenders won against teams that have nothing to play for. And those 2 that did win, did so barely.

Knowing that Brees is planning to throw it all over the yard, we should be ready for that, and blitz like crazy to force some bad throws. And our secondary better show up this week, they will be in the spotlight the whole game. And someone please stop Lance Moore.

That is why I said the last week of the season. Just listening to a lot of former NFL players (now anlalysts) talk about it over the years it is common place that many lockers are mostly cleaned out before the game starts and they are in "vacation mode". You are not going to get 100% out of those guys. Kind of like a kid on the last day of school before summer, you just can't wait to get on the bus and get out of there. Not all guys are like that but a large portion are.

First of all who cares about Dilfer. He wasn't much of a quarterback and isn't much of an analyst.

As for the game I think we match up better against the Saints than we do the Giants. We are doing a good job of starting fast and scoring points early which is what doomed us at Tampa and against the Falcons. In case fols haven't noticed we have been pretty solid on the road the last 2 games. Frankly if Kemo plays against the Giants we would have won. Almost did anyway.

I think our offense is as dynamic as the Saints and our defense is still much better. It ddidn't hurt us to play at Green Bay or the Meadowlands so homefield for them won't be a huge advantage. I really think we are a good team right now capable of winning on the road. I think we will do the same thing to NO that we did to Atlanta in 2005 when we had to win. Although I don't want to see the Wildcat all day this time.

As for Brees 400 yards, as long as it is between the 20s, I could care less.
