My mistake I read too quick. It said the first was African American... but he is a minority candidate which is good

As mentioned, wasn't really on anybody's radar before this but he's getting endorsements from all over the place, most prominently from Reid.

Agreed.  I read up on him and he has an impressive resume and apparently he and Watson know each other as well.  This could work out well for them.

Our President is 78 so I guess age is just a number anyway.

I'd say a lot depends on Caserio.

They seem to have pretty much handed him the keys, so if he's as good as they think, who knows?

If he's not? Well, at least it should be entertaining to us non-Texans fans.

On Dan Patrick it was alluded to that there is a back story with Bieniemy that might be coming up in the vetting process that is eliminating him from serious considerations. I think it may go back to his time coaching at Colorado. I missed the very beginning of it.

He absolutely is. This hire was made to appease a star that doesn't wanna be there anyway. He took the job bc at 65 this is probably his first real opportunity to be a HC. The organization is a mess. Can't end well.
