the thing that I love about carolina, is that they keep guys around...honestly, how long does a reciever like smith stick around when your QB cant get you the ball? moose has been there forever, so has peppers (we wont go there). I agree that the best thing to do is to keep 34 and 28 together as long as possible. not many running backs would keep that smile when you run the ball 80 yards down the field and the other guy gets the TD..these guys are a great team and they need to both stay right here.

what we need to do, is cut as many non-essential positions that are high paid so we can keep Jake as a back up and still be able to afford a top rate QB.

Who the hell in their right minds would trade away a good young QB for Stewart? You proved in your 3rd point that QBs are harder to draft than RBs, so why would anyone give up a QB?
