It is true, however, that Stafford's skill set would fit extremely well with Joe Brady's offense.

I'd trade back the #8 and get more assets, and then trade that late first round pick for Stafford... at best.

I don't understand why a 32 year old QB would want to come to a team that isn't ready to compete for a Super Bowl yet. If he leaves the Lions he needs to go to a more complete team. Like the Colts. At 32 if you go via a trade you want to go to a potential playoff/Super Bowl team.
