NHL reschedules six Canes games

The NHL just announced that they rescheduled a few Hurricanes games. Probably will get more news this week about when the team can return to the ice. It's been almost a year since they played a game in North Carolina.

Fortunately, they're playing baseball series schedule so they're not traveling every off day.

Crazy number of games to cram into so few days and the season is just starting!  Realistically, for the health of the players and competitiveness of the games, the NHL better be looking at adding a week or two or scaling games back.  More COVID positives are bound to impact the same or different teams in the coming weeks...

Yeah, buckle up. This season is going to be interesting.

"The Canes hope to have Jordan Staal back in the lineup for Thursday's game, but they will probably be without five other NHL regulars through the weekend: Jesper Fast, Warren Foegele, Jordan Martinook, Jaccob Slavin and Teuvo Teravainen."

Vs. TB once and Dallas twice. We basically have to go up against the top team in the division with a line and 1/3 of call-ups.

2 RWs, 1 LW, 1 C and 1 D.

They're basically going to play with either 3 solid, but pieced together lines or 4 pieced together lines and plug in the taxi guys along all 4. Either way, the top 2 lines are going to stack up some ice time.
