Panthers expected to hire Sean Ryan, former QB coach for Deshaun Watson, as QB coach

People getting all hot and bothered thinking we got a inside track to Deshaun now.  What if we are just laying the groundwork and foundation for a rookie qb to succeed.  Skip the expensive trade for watson.  Forget about trading into the top 5 to take a QB.  What if instead we draft some oline help, maybe a tight end and build ob a emerging defense?  Crazy I know.

Long as we're talking about former coach connections, there's a guy who's connected both to our assistant OL coach and our new GM, specifically Cedric Ogbuehi. He was with the Jaguars two seasons ago, the Seahawks last season.

Yeah I know, not that exciting.

Sparano has also been coaching our old friend Andrew Norwell for the last few years, for what that's worth.

Would like Ogbuehi. I thought about the Norwalk connection too, but isn’t he like only two years into the 5 year contract that made him the highest paid guard ever?

This would be the fourth year of a five year deal, but I was thinking more along the lines of if they let him go.

Definitely couldn't see trading for that contract.

What if we get new uniforms?

well congrats.  you just ruined everything for me.   I certainly can't have a vintage Watson jersey that isn't actually vintage now can I.
