NFC Champ game - Bucs at Packers - your thoughts?

That strategy they used against Brees won't work again. If they try to straight press against Rodgers its going to get ugly.

It was smart yesterday. Brees looked like a washed up version of Teddy. He literally couldn't effectively throw a ball more than about five yards past the LOS. They really should've went to Winston to give themselves a chance.

I suffered through most of the game.  My thought was that either of those teams have to step it up a lot to beat Green Bay, and I am not on the Packers bandwagon.

Let's put it this way: the Saints looked anemic.  Even with that, had they not turned the ball over four times, they would have still won.  The fumble when they were up 20-13 was the turning point.

My thought coming away from it was that Brees hung on at least one year too long.  I realize he was still hurting yesterday, but he was a shadow of his former self.

I hope Brady wins it all so Tepper gets it through his thick had that coaches don't win championships, QBs do, and his cute pet in Rhule should not get to dictate the roster just because his ego thinks he can mold any QB into an all pro

Veteran coaches have won super bowls dating back to Tomlin in 2008. None of these young waves have done poo. Yeah the Rams went once, but they sold out on veterans on the roster.

saints and packers always choke. we know what happens next. More importantly, it's all about the bills.

I mentioned the turning point in the Saints-Bucs slogfest, was there a bigger turning point than the 101 (I thought it was 103) yard pick six?

That game went from looking like the kind of game the Ravens typically win to singing "turn out the lights" in the span of about 10 seconds.

I think you mean Brees just likes like Teddy or Teddy plays like a 40 year old QB. Either way not good.

Call me whatever you want but I'm actually rooting for Brady at this point.

Seeing him win another SB his first year on another team would be crazy

Just to witness the GOAT do GOAT things, at his age..  it goes beyond rivalries. I just want to savor what I'm seeing before me cause I'll prob never see it again.

I mean that Brees looked so bad last night that he looked like an even worse version of Teddy.

Had it been under different circumstances, Brees might have been pulled for Teddy.  Even this year, had it not been "his final tour," you have to think he would  have been pulled for Jameis.  Even under the circumstances, he probably should have been pulled for Jameis.

Some guys just hang on until they are either given the hook or until they are carried off.

Packers win easily. Brady honestly didn't look good at all yesterday and that's just overshadowed by how utterly atrocious Brees looked. He could've easily had 2-3 INTs himself if the Saints defenders could catch.

That Arians offense is due for a pile of TO's. This is the highest INT % that Brady has had in a decade.

Yeah, even his short passes looked like some of those old Jake Delhomme fluttering ducks. It was nice to see him fail so spectacularly.
