If Luke is the comparison, then we are likely doomed. Players like him come around only once in a while. We need a infusion of talent on defense and the first round is only one part of it. If he turns out be to be a Shaq Thompson, but we also add a Charles Johnson or Mike Rucker and a Mike Minter in later rounds, I will be happy. -

“He’s a hybrid LB/edge” just screams to me that he has limitations at both. For the fanboys, that’s where the Luvu/Chinn talk comes into play. I’d rather trade back and take Schwesinger in the 20’s or Warren or someshit. It’s at least best player at their position. Maybe Grant….stay put and pick TMac? I just prefer guys with defined positions and knowing you are filling and improving one of 22 positions in top 10. Give me a combo guard in the NBA or as a mid round project in the NFL draft. Seems insane to think that’s a good idea top 10. Hybrid is for weed and werewolves. -
