How come after that last faceoff before the goal, it seemed like every Cane skated away from the puck? Detroit's whole team was all over our centerman.

Red Wings should have never been on the power play, but Canes losing that many face offs is horrendous.

Embarrassing effort, top to bottom. RBA fuging with the lines, everyone looked slow and out of shape out there. Got easily handled by the (tanking) worst team in the league. Better days will come but this team has a lot of work to do.

Honestly I expected all the teams to look a little slow and rusty to start the season, but I am really surprised at how sluggish we have looked at times.  I thought we were quite lucky to win that first game as the score wasn't indicative of the actual game.

Offense better wake up!
