You've made your point. I guess I just hate them, whatever.

I'm still looking forward to FFXIII, and hope it's good, but Square Enix hasn't impressed me in a long time.

Just a side note.. one of my favorite JRPG's, even though it's not quite the traditional type.. Valkyrie Profile. Thought the combat system was pretty cool, and the story was pretty neat. I liked the idea of having a time limit to get through the game.. made multiple playthrough's interesting. Anybody else play this in the PS1 days?

really interested to try demon's souls. However I'm only 60 hours into oblivion and I just picked up dead space so it's gonna be a while.

I thought Dead Space was pretty good. The main character is pretty lacking, but the overall gameplay is fun, and I always find it fun when crazy sh*t goes down in space. (see Event Horizon)

PS. Also, Uncharted 2 is amazing with what it does with storytelling in games. The visuals are simply amazing, the voice acting is incredible, and it really does what it does well in that aspect.

However, I found the story itself to be a bit lacking (which is excusable as it's supposed to be an action movie game) but also I'm not sure I agree with the design decision to have everything turn into a massive shootout where you murder 5,000 people. I understand that Drake is a relentless treasure hunter, but he shouldn't be Rambo. It would have been cool to have more sneaking and platforming instead of guns a' blazin' every 10 seconds.

Again, that's just my personal opinion, but I did enjoy it.

I don't know about that. It's an action/platformer. I would tire of the platforming if there wasn't much gun play involved.(think of the last prince of persia game, borefest)

I thought the game balanced everything pretty well. I'd have liked to see a few more puzzles or at least maybe make them a little more difficult.

There is no denying the epicness of the mission on the train and the one where the helicopter is chasing you across the rooftops.

Don't even get me started on how awesome the multiplayer is.

Maybe you're right on the puzzles thing. I just think it needed to be more spread out in gameplay elements and not just a shooter, and then whatever else.

Agree on the train and MP aspect. The multiplayer is absolutely amazing, but it's one of those things where it's like "this would be so much better with XBL"

As is every online experience with PS3 :(

the story is okay but not great, the graphics are okay but not great, the gameplay is okay but not great.

basically it's every single EA game

funny. I've heard different. Basically that it's pretty good as a game, but it's really good and pretty original for an EA game. If it's creepy and entertaining for more than 10 hours I'll be happy. Got it for $15.
