Thirty degrees out there...Yikes!

I used to love playing in snow games, but those games where it was just bone chillingly cold? Hitting somebody felt like slamming into a wall.

Doesn’t add up

Thirty is cold.

Admittedly, my standards for cold are different at age 53 than they were at age 16.

As someone who lives in Boston and has spent many winters in Minnesota, 30 is not far from t-shirt weather... not quite “bone chillingly cold” to me at least...

just messing around Scot I’m sure what I call “blistering hot” you call comfortable...

Trust me, I understand. I do think living in the South as I'm getting up there is making me soft :)

I remember a game my sophomore year where I'm pretty sure it was either single digits or low double digits at the most. Nice cold wind too.

Teenage dumbass me only brought a half shirt with short sleeves to wear under my pads. And we didn't have those big wrap around cloak type things, or much of anything really. Even if we had, I wouldn't have gotten one anyway.

Since I was a sophomore, I was mostly playing Just special teams, a.k.a. sprint down the field and slam into somebody. Then I'd go back to the sideline and shiver.

When I got home from that game, I hurt like a mother.

but 30 degrees is bone chillingly cold?

yeah doesn't add up

usually when it is actually snowing the humidity is higher and it feels warmer due to that......a dry "cold" does feel worse when you are hitting things, trying to catch a ball, etc.
