"But TOM BRADY" will forever be the rallying cry of people who don't know what an outlier is. Plus Brady is skinnyfat, not fatfat.

lol. This is the most ridiculous conversation. OP acting like fat is permanent and as if the NFL rigor doesnt change your body or fitness. Along with the fact that the players have personal fitness coaches and nutrionists to support them.

Me at 35 yrs old........................at 66 yrs old today I'm still in better shape than most pro NFL players..

Lifting weights and eating clean has been a passion for 50 yrs of training for me.........so yeah I'm in better shape......then and even now......

You don’t honestly think this do you?

There aren’t many if any skilled position players walking around with that much fat on their body for starters.

I’m willing to bet most who voted that they are in better shape, truly aren’t. Haskins really cut up last offseason, I’m guessing Mac will do the same.

I'll draw distinction between "fitter" and more "in shape."  I am arguably a better "shape" than Mac Jones.  I have some love handles, but I'm pretty slim overall.  Whether I look better with my shirt off I think may come down to personal preference, and I may be biased, but I like how I look more than the tubbiness on display in the OP's photo.

That being said, Mac Jones, as a collegiate and soon to be pro athlete, has a better fitness level than me.
