Bad calls by the refs or not the team looks atrocious at the end of games as of late and when the Knicks are sinking threes on you in overtime and you're chucking up airballs it's a wrap. This team will probably get throttled in the playoffs if they even make it in. Some guys with paydays coming up are showing their worth and it isn't looking good. The team can upgrade at multiple positions at this point. I've seen enough Horncats trash sorry just calling it like I see it.

Bridges sure didn’t look like he has been sick for two weeks

devonte is a player...sign him to a deal

PJ had nothing...he was awful

monk not a big time player

rozier just has no legs left...been trying to do it all

did melo get hurt?...he was non existent

we had our chance, couldn’t get one to fall at the end

PJ is the laziest player on the team. All that talent and poss poor effort game after game.

Monk is just as you said, not big time, he disappears every time he is needed.

This team needs some bigs in the worst way and needs to cut some fat if they don't wake their asses up. Some guys are playing their hearts out and others (looking at you PJ and Monk, hurt ass Hayward too) cannot seem to get out of their own way.

The Charlotte Hornets, Washington Wizards, and Indiana Pacers are all tied at 33-38 for the Eastern Conference’s No. 8, No. 9, and No. 10 seeds. With only one regular season game left, today’s matchup against the Wizards could ultimately determine if the Hornets make the playoffs or not.

Charlotte holds the tiebreaker over both the Wizards and Pacers. A win today would cement the Hornets as the No. 8 seed. This is massively important in light of the NBA’s new play-in approach where the No. 7 through No. 10 seeds will face off to determine who makes the playoffs. If the Hornets win today they will face the No. 7 seed and the winner makes the playoffs. If they lose as the No. 8 seed, they will face the winner of the No. 9 vs. No. 10 seed, and the winner of that game makes the playoffs.

The path to the playoffs is much easier as the No. 8 seed than if the Hornets lose today and end up No. 9 or No. 10. This game is about as big as it gets in the regular season.

As I stated earlier, Bridges is on another level since Hayward went down with the foot injury. I wonder if Mitch is regretting signing him to that big contract now. If Miles could have been playing like this the whole time it makes Hayward an expensive luxury at best. Miles has played mostly well all season, but not like he has since he cracked the starting lineup. He is probably the best player on the team currently. Miles is at least playing like he is the best anyway.

I have the feeling Devonte will get a contract before Monk. He is a local kid and more consistent player.

PJ is still figuring things out. Miles didn't look much better last year.

I've never been impressed with Monk. He has always reminded me of Bobcats era Ben Gordon, way too streaky. Let some other team have him.

Yeah, Rozier seems out of it. Dude needs some rest.

I don't remember seeing anything about Ball getting hurt. He was rotating his wrist a lot on the sidelines though. Graham was also balling out, so it didn't make sense to pull him in favor of Melo.

    • NFL Pro has the All-22 up already 😄 Going to grab a play or two from each redzone series to put screenshots to. Looks like AT angled his route off to the near pylon rather than the back corner where Bryce was throwing to. I imagine this is something they'll quickly try to figure out with Thielen back from IR. After watching the All-22 again, this was actually a pretty nifty play. I thought it was a TE screen to Tremble because of the way XL charged the DB, but he quickly shed and kept upfield as seen in the second screenshot. This looks like it had multiple layers built into it with AT running the crosser, XL the fade, Tremble to the flat. The progression would call for the play to go to Chuba here as the LB does follow Tremble out into the flat. Ball hits Chuba low and in the hands, but the LB does a good job disrupting the catch.
    • The bottom lines to me are that a) we played well enough to beat the best team in the league and b) Bryce Young is growing into a bridge QB role (his ceiling) for us. As much as I don't want BY around after the season, it seems DC can still build the O with a game manager at QB for now. Best case scanario, we can build the D through the draft this year and take a QB we have conviction outside the 1st this or next draft. If BY keeps improving, we are going to win a couple more games this year.
    • Bryce has been a completely different QB since coming back. That started in Denver where it was obviously he was playing a lot more loose and willing to push the ball downfield  Bryce continues to build off of the previous weeks performance and that’s what you want to see Bryce has been making some real good anticipation throws. Reading defenses well. Pushing the ball downfield (7 throws of 20+ air yards yesterday. 8 if you want to include PI to Thielen). The deep ball accuracy has been there. Some of Young’s best throws yesterday were incompletions. Sideline balls to XL and Moore both should’ve been caught. RZ dot to Tremble should’ve been caught. And another RZ ball to Moore that Young gave him a chance at. Bryce is starting to execute Canales offense and yesterday Canales finally opened it up a bit. Canales was to blame for the 126 passing yards in Germany as he played a more conservative game.  The next bit I’m looking for his for Young to be a bit more decisive with running the ball. Start putting that on film and it’ll help open things up a tad
