So you want to completely change the organizational structure on the fly? We basically did that with Rhule. We can't keep doing it every year. Tepper is all in on The Process. Time will tell whether or not that was a good call.

I think it might have been his choice either way.

First time I read The Athletic profile of him talking about how much he loved the team and his job, I thought to myself "not gonna be easy to pry him away from that".

Possible his family might not have wanted to move all the way across the country either.

Yeah, if you love the Bay Area I honestly can't see Charlotte being all that appealing to you.

the "organizational structure" doesn't matter

Jimmies and Joes and all that

 And right now it looks like we've got a bigger focus on creating a revolutionary new power dynamic than we do on acquiring the most qualified candidates
