Mac Jones will probably go to one of the teams that were on the cusp of making the playoffs (Vikings) or lost in the wildcard (WFT) and he will have immediate success. Not flashy but very consistent, good decision making and reading defenses.

Also, I feel confident that Fields, Lance, and Jones will be there at 8. No need to trade up.

I think one of the lasting problems that Brady has caused, besides winning 6 SuperBowls, is that it's made teams / fans overrate College QBs.

He's literally the outlier - an unathletic pocket passer with a mediocre NFL arm.

Mac Jones might be sensational in the NFL, but based off his physical limitations (and being surrounded by the Monstars) I'm taking him in the later rounds (not the 6th round, unfortunately) and letting him compete as my 2nd / 3rd QB. I'd feel incredibly uncomfortable taking him in the first two rounds.

He looked good last night and this year was on one great team but how much of it was him and how much of it was those around him making him look so good?

Will he not have even better talent around him in the NFL?

Relative talent, no. His OL, WRs and RBs are well above the average teams he faced. Even against OSU, Smith looked head and shoulders above their DBs and it was pretty rare when they got true pressure on him. When they did have any pressure, Harris was left alone.
