Just a few.  They were all playoff qbs

 

I dont think it matters in todays NFL if you can run or not as long as the offense fits your skill set.  After going through cam and wincing at every time he would run out of the pocket a nice big accurate pocket passer with a great oline sounds kindof nice. 

 

Still think we hold tight at 8 and snag lance

Alex Smith???? Tannehill? Both those dudes are mobile.

 

Just look at the 6 pro bowl QBs this year, look at all the top QB drafted in the last couple of drafts. Pass protection is worse than ever if your QB can’t move in today’s nfl your offense becomes severely limited. Brady and Brees are old and have had the best pass protection of any QBs over the last 20 years.

The nfl is going away from strictly pocket passers, you have to at least  be somewhat mobile.

Also any Alabama player should be taken with a grain of salt. The overall superiority of their players over most other programs shouldn’t be overlooked. It’s easy to look good when you’re talent is 2-3x the other team
