When Cody returns...

Chaos

I admit it’s possible, but I trust in these guys there to not let that happen. Biz has been a somewhat pleasant in the meantime but I’ve been really sick of him fumbling so many perfect passes under the basket that should be easy dunks or layups. I think Zeller coming back will only help the team win games even more. We really do desperately need an upgrade at C for next year though. PJ is fine for a small ball center but as we saw against Philly twice we’ll get absolutely fuging crushed by good teams with big men who are threats.

I met Cody at Cam's kickball event once and had no idea how tall that kid is even knowing his height.

That said, he has never impressed much. No issue with him just coming off the bench. Why mess with the current chemistry that seems to be working.

being around someone that tall can get your attention.  There was a center for NC State called Chuck Neavitt  (sp) who was 7 foot 5.  I remember reading a newspaper article about him where his mom said she bought 3 pairs of pants to make 2 for him.

I went to the old North South doubleheader at the Charlotte Coliseum and went down to say hi to a friend in the NC state pep band in the bleachers behind the goal.  I was 14 or 15.  Neavitt walked by.  It got my attention.  People that size are so much bigger than you think just watching on tv.

Agreed...but a big man that give us productive minutes can help us

and remember, biz is all we have right now

not a UNC homer, but I'm watching Day'ron Sharpe.   6' 11'',   265.  currently averaging 9.8 pts and 8.3 rebounds per game on a young UNC team with guard trouble.  Not sure how the big man market looks next year, but I can see Gordon keeping the lanes open and melo zinging passes into this guy.

Sharpe has potential and love his toughness but he needs lots of development.  These frosh the days are so completely raw and lack basic fundamentals.  Its pretty crazy.  Most cant hit free throws.

You're tell your age bro.  Don't worry I remember Neavitt too.  Tommy Burleson was 7' 2" for the NCSU national championship in 74.  Even on TV the guy looked tall as hell.

I was living in Greenville NC when State won the National Championship.  I was outside playing basketball when the neighbor damn near broke sound records when the game ended and NCSU was NC.

    • I think a lot of wrs are going to go in the second round before we pick.  There are a lot of wr needy teams.  I think there will be a big run on them in the late 30s and 40s.
    • Interesting that they met with Walker three times and Cam Jackson twice.
