With Hurney gone can the new guy figure out that Fields is the pick if he falls to 8?  I would stay put now and hope Philly or Atlanta don’t both draft QBs.

Fields is QB5 for me in this class. Sure hope he’s not our pick at 8.

At the very least I don't see why Fields has to be a top 10 pick. He really doesn't look any better than a number of QBs.

Everyone keeps forgetting that BYU played Coastal on three days notice.  Coastal was a ranked team at that point, as was BYU.  Coastal was already preparing to play a game, BYU was not.  It was AT Coastal Carolina.

Everything in that deck was stacked against BYU, and they played the game anyway, and it was a good close game.  I applaud them for taking it on.

That entire game, the Coastal front was killing BYU.  Wilson was under pressure A LOT.  And he kept them in the game.  His receivers let him down multiple times.

Don't pick at one game for ANY college QB.  Similarly, Fields performance against Bama doesn't overly concern me.  Watch their body of work.  Watch the mechanics.  Watch the reads.  Watch their progression.

In the end, I suspect this draft will yield 3 NFL QB's.  I don't know who they are, but I believe they are in the group of six at the top.
