Hate on Jones all you want but he’s hitting smith in stride

Did you watch the replay again? Watch it again and you'll see him slow down, catch it and after burner it again into the end zone. He had LB on him, so Smith had no issues slowing up a little. It wasn't a bad pass, but when a guy like Smith has a LB 5-10 yards behind him, he makes the pass look perfect.

I disagree on Jones. I think he has nailed almost every throw, and looks much better than Fields. I bet we see his name move up the draft boards over time.

Honestly, I'm just not seeing anything impressive from him. He has all day to throw and the best weapon in college football to throw to. Devonta Smith is doing all the lifting.

Was The Golden Calf of Bristol a great pro QB? College awards do not mean success as a pro. Did you really just try and make that comparison?

Remind me the last time a WR won it? Exactly, you're going to be big wrong and it will be fun calling you on you're dumbassery.

Smith and Harris. I’ve seen him have to leap to catch a few screens to the rb already and then turn it into 10 yards.

If we take Mac Jones at 8, it's not terrible. He's just a traditional style QB but he looks like he would fit our offense.

Peyton Manning was traditional as is Tom Brady

large part of me thinksFields is still hurt.  That was a wicked shot he took. I thought his rib cage got separated from his body

Jones has all kinds of time, throwing to a large window!

His protection and receivers are good, yes, but let's not pretend that every throw is super wide open. Jones does what a good QB should do with weapons/time, and that's be pinpoint accurate on almost every single throw.

Dude's mobility is suspect! He doesn't have to face much adversity with almost squeaky clean pockets and large windows to throw to. This will not be his experience in the NFL!

I’m not going to belittle you or call you names. That’s childish. How did the last WR fare as a WR in the pros after winning the Heisman?

watching a bunch of people try and run narrative control on their confirmation bias when he's having the kind of game he's having has been a laugh fest

Florida sucks
