The QBs are meh, but there is a lot of O-Line prospects that are really interesting for rounds 2-4. So this will definitely give us an advantage.

I've been watching a bit of Trask tape.  I'm still not sold on him, but man, his footwork is SOOOOO good.

One thing I really like about him is that he throws a very nice deep ball.  Good touch.  Even better, when his deep balls are "wrong", they are usually too long which is exactly what you want.  He's the kind of QB I'd really like to see throwing to DJ and Robby as it would finally allow them to use their speed.

The word you're looking for is ACCURATE. Timely. Spreads the ball out to all his talent. High IQ.

Lots of guys start in college. Teddy started in college.

To be elite in the Nfl, you need elite arm talent. You need accuracy AND velocity.

Trask does not have good velocity. Not even close.

May as well take a look. We're not drafting a QB in the 1st. We need a better backup than Grier/PJ/White Guy and possibly Haskins. Not that any of those dudes are better, lol.

He opted out due to COVID. Everything else is pure speculation.

Watched him play at UT a lot. Tom Herman wasn't a great coach. Team constantly underachieved and the defense was always horrible. Ehlinger has average arm strength with spotty accuracy. His running ability might make him an intriguing backup prospect. His ceiling is probably something like a Taysom Hill and his floor is not making an NFL roster at all.
