Predict the Hornets final record.

Help me out a bit here. I am trying to set appropriate expectations on this season. How many games should I expect the Hornets to win? I don't want to overshoot my shot.

It would be good to see the 2nd half schedule. Also, we have already seen what covid is doing to teams.  Imagine Hornets without Hayward, Melo, and Rozier for a few games.  That said, perfect world Hornets will go 37-35.

72 games?....tough to see a winning record....but I think we can get to 34-35 wins....if we can keep everybody on the court

Young team that will go through a mid season slump that will either keep them out of the playoffs or a low seed.  They'll turn it back on and maybe even hit the playoffs hot enough to steal a game or two.

#5 seed in the east is absolute best case and would require some significant improvement from multiple players on the team (which is already outperforming expectations to some degree..). Realistically probably 9th or 10th seed with a shot at the playoffs in the play-in round.

What I’ll say Igo, is I’m pumped about the Hornets right now for sure, but once Hurricanes season starts in a few days, I won’t be watching the basketball over the best team in the Carolinas...

I wasn’t a big hockey guy and still take football over it even with the Panthers rebuilding, but since I got more into it a few years ago (when the Canes broke a decade playoff drought, no coincidence...) it’s been awesome.  Canes are an insanely exciting team, multiple legit star players on good to great contracts, a ton of young prospects in the pool and are incredibly young. Biggest concern is goaltending, which is important but there are many teams worse in that regard. Canes should be what we hoped the Panthers would be following 2015. Sustained success and legit potential for multiple championships in the next 10+ years.

I wasn’t much of a fan...went to a canes game and it was great....watching it live is a whole different deal...really cool, fast moving, lots of skill...really exciting sport
