He played a hell of a game.  I’ll give him that.  
 

not sure that makes him good.  See a lot of QBs come in for a game with teams not knowing how to gameplan their defense sufficiently with so little tape.

@Daddy_Uncle The one game he started for us he threw 3 picks and average 5 yards per throw. What game did you see him play in 2018? That was the only he started....

I went to ODU the same time as Heinicke. I’m not surprised he balled out, he did win the Walter Payton Award as a sophomore after all.

I was not saying we should get him or anything. Just that he played an outstanding game with not that great of players around him. He placed that ball perfectly on some of those sideline passes. Very impressive.He should make "a" roster next year for sure.

Absolutely. He looked bigger last night somehow. For us, I just remember him hanging in the pocket and getting smoked over and over. Idk what his contract status is but I think he’s definitely earned a backup contract after that performance.

That's what happens when you spend your draft picks on tall WRs because your QB overthrows everything, as opposed to actually drafting Oline help.

Heinicke and Allen both seem like decent QB's. At least as good as Teddy. They just don't have the size and strength to take the beating. They get hurt every few games.

H's better than a Matt Casell, Nick Mullens, etc. but I'd say still below a Case Keenum.

I always thought he had potential. I was mad when we picked Kyle Allen over him.
