Why was Rivers in there for the hail mary? He got it closer to the endzone than I thought he would, but I knew he couldn't throw that ball to the endzone.

The Bills team have been built right. They are playoff contenders every year with good coaching, stability, and good drafting. They find their franchise QB, build around him, and draft quality players. They are a solid team. Hope Panthers can replicate that blueprint. Also not afraid to trade draft assets for franchise defining player ex. 1st for Diggs.

They really need to do a serious upgrade of their review specialists. These arent even close calls they are blowing. His knee had clearly lifted off the ground the frame before he was touched. In real time it would be near impossible to tell, but frame by frame it was clear as day. This is not acceptable by today's technological standards.

 

I still haven't figured out yet why they dont have a camera looking down the line of scrimmage. It would easily so many of these perspective calls because of angles.

It probably should be. His arm is done. Just throwing wounded ducks all over the place. He played about as well as he's physically capable of playing today, but he's just very physically limited these days. Even more so than Bridgewater.

If by competent you mean willing to sacrifice any type of moral obligation to actually call a game fairly instead of creating the finish desired by Goodell, then yes, that's who I'm referring to.
