Panthers bringing in Haskins

We have a QB dilemma.  Our starting QB can't get the job done.  Everything should be done to get our problem solved.  Haskins has the tools but needs the proper motivation.  He's young and majorly F'd up in DC.

Giving a young man an opportunity to  redeem himself is not a bad thing.  I am sure he is motivated to prove he's not a bust.

It's worth a shot.

Haskins or Grier? Who do you want as a 3rd string back up? Who cares. If we get to the 3rd string back up QB we are in trouble with who ever we have.

I also believe Rhule has what it takes to turn around somebody. Look at even Robbie in NY and then here. Some guys just love playing for Rhule. Why not talk to him? He's not going to out #1 QB.

There's no room for logic in this thread!

True colors? What true colors?

That we don't want a failure coming in and destroying the winning culture we sacrificed the third pick for?

You realise we're on the hook for nothing, right? This isn't some 1st round pick we have to pussyfoot about. This is essentially an UDFA.

The first time he misses a QB meeting he's out the door. That's even IF they sign him.

right. these boys in here throwing their laptops around in fits of rage over due diligence.

can't wait for the thread for when we sign him

We need to worry about getting Lance Wilson Fields or Watson.

Haskins isn't even worth looking at if Ron cut him.

Nice guy Ron cut someone for work ethic and behavior. The guy never studied. He's another Jamarcus Russell.

I'm sure you have heard about Jamarcus and the blank Gameplan DVD.

Having a conversation with Haskins doesn't change our draft strategy...

and, we aren't getting Watson.

Right? If he kicks around and gets cut by Rivera and Rhule he’s likely going to be out of the league. If our star at QB gets hurt I think Walker exposed himself against the Saints ( and honestly he did against the Lions, too ) and obviously Griers ceiling is holding a clipboard... we are at a point in this franchise where we could use talent at basically every position outside of WR. It’s definitely worth the risk.

You relish it.  So do I.

I do not want this guy, but I like the fact that they are doing their due diligence.   I would rather they turn over all the stones than only the stones I like--which is what some Huddlers are saying. Since they read something about him somewhere...
