Panthers general manager search update

I'd say this as far as Caserio...

Don't know who the Panthers next GM will be, but it's looking pretty clear that it won't be him. More than one Houston source has them listed as set to name Caserio Texans GM.

Mind you, there's also a lot of very positive talk down there regarding Joe Brady as their next head coach.

Whats Caserio's relation w Joe Brady? Is it that likely Brady gets a job that early? What did he show to earn a head coaching job after 1 year?

None that I know of, but both interviewed today.

Texans beat writer Aaron Wilson said Brady's interview was "outstanding".

Rapoport now confirming...

All indications are Caserio ain't gonna be the Panthers GM.

I'm :shades: with that. There are plenty of really good candidates and the Pats haven't actually been stellar at drafting (though I'm sure BB shoulders most of the blame).

    • You are taking it out of context. I was going there because my first post wasn't negative enough. But you are right I'm not happy Panther football wise (why would I be?). Though, I am looking forward to seeing how he does. Because he could do my first estimate or my second.  If you take the receptions based on bad Bryce all the throws to him will be behind the LOS, and well defended. Meanwhile they are smothering our run game so nothing great there.
    • yeah. winter backpacking trips were the most miserable and amazing experiences. same with the coldest and snowiest hunting  experiences. i love being in it. makes for incredible memories. the worse it was, the more i ended up loving it. made the greatest memories.  i just want to get out of it afterwards.
    • I forgot about Jackson...definitely elite.  The sad part of your list is that 2 of them were 'there for the taking for the Panthers'.  Rumor has it that Hurney loved Herbert and was vetoed on trying to trade up.  And rumor has it that Frank & McCown wanted Stroud.  I believe both rumors.
