Eagles tanking

I’ll be honest, this is awful. If I was a Philly fan I’d want to see Hurts win the game even if they drop because Hurts looks like he might be their future. This looks like point shaving and I wouldn’t be happy as a fan. It’s embarrassing.

Saying you want to see a young QB like Grier or PJ and young backups for us is easy to excuse. Sudfield has been on the Eagles for 4 years, there is nothing to see and they have a Wentz/Hurts decision.

So tanking with a plausible explanation is OK but just tanking for tanking sake is not?

Just dont pull a muscle tying yourself into that knot

We all saw the answer to that tonight. Hurts isn’t Pederson’s answer. Probably didn’t even want to draft him. Wentz will be the starter in Philly next season. Hurts should demand a trade.

Yes. You obviously missed the point. What I am saying is that putting backups in and resting players makes sense but that what I am watching out if the Philly QB appears to be a player actively trying to lose the game. Make sense now? Tanking would be Ok in my eyes. Those backups are still trying to win. I could be wrong but he’s just holding onto the ball for sacks and giving the ball away.

I mean 1 minute left and has he looked at a WR down the field? Might as well run the ball.
