Keep Moton no matter what, would love to keep Samuel but he will be overpaid by someone else, accept that and just take the 3rd round compensation pick for the following draft, don’t make any big free agency signings until the next offseason after our rookie QB has sat for a season.

Would be interested if @Jeremy Igo or @RoaringRiot have any sense if the chances of resigning Samuel and/or Moton have increased since Hurney was fired?  And was Hurney viewed as the reason those deals hadn't been done already?

Ehhh, he's kind of been saying that all year, so I don't think there's much to it.  That being said, the longer the season went on, he just looked like JAG and disappeared.  Rodney Smith looked more impressive to me and I would love to have him back.  I don't really care either way with Davis.

Feel bad about Samuel, finally found a system where he was a jack of all trades and a key piece and "he gone" feels bad man.  Is it Samuel doesn't want to be here or just $$$$$??

Motion, Samuel, Jansen I would prioritise. I'd also look at trying to sign Larsen for backup centre/guard role.

Quite sure we can all agree to just let Whitehead walk.

Moton and Douglas should be the priorities. Let Curtis walk away. This is a super deep receiver class and we need to pay DJ soon.

I think it's a little of both. Samuel doesn't want to be the 4th option on a team (once CMC comes back). The Panthers know they need to upgrade TE too, so the need for a WR3 at that price tag doesn't make sense, especially when you're rebuilding and have a ton of holes to fill.

Appreciate it, as always, Zack.  Good to hear about Moton, but man, that sucks about Samuel.  I always believed in his potential, then it seems like it all finally comes together and he's gone.
