Albert Breer characterized Adolfo-Mensah as a guy David Tepper would be interested in, but he expected Rhule to be more about Ireland and Peters.

It fits. When asked what he wanted in a GM, Rhule heavily emphasized talent evaluation skills.

No. And league rules would make that near impossible anyway.

If we get an Assistant GM, it's likely to be Pat Stewart.

In his MMQB today, Albert Breer said the Panthers have "done a lot of homework" on Jeff Ireland.

Caserio: Well, we got lucky and hit on the greatest outlier of all time with a HOF QB in the sixth round, and we had probably the best coach to ever walk the sideline. We played in a division that was flat out terrible for most of the decade. I mean seriously, the best QB we faced for the longest time was Chad Pennington. TB12 made JAGs serviceable and FAs would sign for us at below market rate for a chance at a ring.

The Panthers are expected to reach out to longtime Patriots executive Nick Caserio this week, as well as Colts assistant general manager Ed Dodds, Vikings assistant GM George Paton, and Chiefs director of player personnel Mike Borgonzi.

It might end up being a shorter list of guys that we AREN'T looking at. Hell, I'm all for it. Look at everyone. The only thing is that several other teams are looking too so you better move fast.
