I'm saying if the Steelers think there's any hope for him to be a legit starting QB they're not trading him. If the Steelers think that after having him in their organization for three years  and trading up in the 3rd to draft him, I'll pass on trading for him.

That's the key, then. If he's a 3rd year player, it's time to pay him. It depends on what he thinks he's worth, then. I say give them a call and offer a 2 next year and a 5 this year and see what happens.

He's not the answer and the Steelers aren't likely to give him up with Ben being 40 and really no other QBs of note on their roster.
