Wins need to mean something.  What does this potential win mean to us?  Near as I can tell, it means nothing.  In fact, forget about the draft for just a minute, pretend we're picking 15th regardless of the outcome.

Do you really, REALLY want to see TB5 beat the Saints in the 'dome and instill some sort of farcical idea into a brain somewhere that "Maybe he is the answer".  NO.  HELL NO.  TB5 is not the answer, and I don't want there to be any doubts about that at all.

Do you really want our front office to look at our line and go "You know what?  We did fine against the Saints at the end of the season after everything gelled."  NO.  FFS NO.

This game if it turns into a win could serve to obfuscate problems we've spent an entire season exposing.  I don't want another season like this.  Yea, the season has shown promise, and we've been far better than expected.  That said, I want to see us CONTINUE to show progress next season.  I don't want some meaningless game at the end of the season to make people think twice about what they've seen already.

Can we not act like our FO is braindead? You’re worried about them ignoring the entirety of the season and basing the future of our franchise on one game? Really? Are you also worried about them cutting Jeremy Chinn if he has a bad game tomorrow?

All evidence to the contrary?  I'll act like our FO isn't brain dead when they show they aren't brain dead for a few years in a row.

Until then, I'd feel better if we continue to demonstrate candidly what the needs of the team are, and stop worrying about how we can possibly "ruin" the Saints season.  As much as our fans hate the Saints, I promise you that the apathy they feel toward us is just as shocking.  We simply don't matter to them because we haven't shown the ability to challenge them in five years.

Lol so you legit actually are worried maybe they’ll cut Jeremy Chinn if he does poorly tomorrow...since our FO is so impressionable that they’ll make an important roster decision based on a singular isolated performance. Unless your logic is inconsistent, of course.

Exactly, I can't understand these "fans" who are actually watching the gane and want their team to lose.  Why watch then?
