I'll be glad when it is over no matter what it is.   Tired of hearing the whiners crying about winning a game.  Than we can focus on what will be available at whatever position we end up with.

I hope we play well and N.O. is at full strength and we kick their ass.  I will enjoy the meltdown in this forum.

That ain't happening. They have Taysom at rb. The whole backfield is in Covid.

Philly is supposed to be openly stating that they will play their bench to see what they have for next year.  That really sucks if it determines the NFC East Champion.

Not sure about any other teams---

Wish our staff was that smart.

I keep on saying, Rhule is here to win, not accumulate high draft picks.

He's won 5 games with THIS squad - a bunch of rookies, UDFAs and Practice Squad players.

Our future isn't beholden to Fields / Wilson / Lance.

You’re right. It’s on Teddy B, much better than those 3. Your takes are ass. Just like your CFB team.

Playing well in a losing effort has always been the ultimate goal this season. By and large we've pretty much done it.

If we lose than at least we gave a good effort.

I hope we kick their ass and Green Bay gets upset and N.O. Loses in the NFC Championship game in the second coming of the Ice Bowl.

Matt Ryan's cap hit is crippling.

You know what? I was about to argue with you but you're totally right. I just looked at his contract and my god is that an absolute albatross. Get excited Panthers fans who hate Atlanta because barring a trade, they are stuck with Matt Ryan until at least 2023.

https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/atlanta-falcons/matt-ryan-3983/

This year his dead cap hit is 75 million (that alone should be a fireable offense). Next year? 49 million. Also Matt Ryan will be a cool 36 yo at that point. In 2022 it's still 26 million.

Finally in 2023 it drops to about 8 million. Meaning, that if the Falcons were to draft a QB they would be saddled with Ryan's contract for the first three years of that rookie's deal. Doing the old Rams/Seahawks/Chiefs way of loading a roster with a qb contract, it's impossible to do with the Ryan contract. So essentially I believe part of taking that coach/GM spot is going to be that you have to be able to work with Ryan for at least two seasons.
